boil that water....and get them noodles in there...about however much you desire...
pour some oil in a skillet-like enough to coat the bottom plus a bit extra...
heat that oil and add to it some chopped vegetables-you can use what you want....
last time I did this I used a good hand full of scallions(for fun) some carrots sliced very very thin...and some artichoke hearts....spices are good if you know what you like....
saute that stuff for a good 5 minutes or so...
when it becomes a bit like a muck, add to it some red tomato sauce...maybe half a cup....and stir it a little and lower your flame...
let that simmer for a few minutes, and at the end of this process I like to ad FRESH basil to the sauce to be on the traditional side...
then you should have an ellagant sauce to have with your pasta that will leave meat eaters coming back for more...
um...you can cook whatever you want and eat it too but this style of sauce here may just take you a few practice tries...
but once you get it down, it is fast and delicious and I don't really know a soul who would refuse it...
it works well for me and I learned it from an 80 year old lebanese man who knows his shit...I guesse I had to watch him for a while before I picked it up...
try it out...
