This is a little late for your trip, but.... There is a trippy place in NYC, http://www.cloistercafe.com/index.html that looks cool from their web site. I went to a similarly themed place called The Cloisters Restaurant, themed after -- The Cloisters -- but it's closed now, apparently. The Cloister Cafe looks damn expensive, and these days, ALL of my money goes into my shit. Bigger speakers, bigger amps, cables, pedals, it just never stops..... But, if you have the spare bux or an expense account, the Cloister Cafe looks dope. They even have a hookah room, *cough* *cough*, not for me, but I still think it's cool!

In "Little Italy" there are tons of hole -- or cave -- in the wall places that are dope. There was one place I went -- I just can't remember the name -- Trattoria something -- and it was just out of this world. A small, unassuming storefront, and then a large, dark, unassuming interior. You almost had to crawl your way inside. They have a salad cart that comes around if you order salad. You say what you want: green leaf lettuce (not that fake Iceberg shit), and tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes! OMFG! Big, fucking fat tomatoes. They just keep cutting slabs until you say stop. My salad was half tomatoes! (And a little other stuff, maybe some onion rings....a little cucumber.) It was just great! With a salad like that, you don't need to order anything else!

Oh well, back to the grindboard..... '(-_-)' ||"||"||||"||"||"||
