man... how dope is it to plant your own food & herbs?
living in colorado, which supposedly is an arrid environment is EASY gardening....

i would reccommend anyone who likes to cook to at least grow basil, oregano and mint. those plants are too good to be true!

I have mint growing out of control in my backyard. It's great because it grows back every year and requires no maintenance.

I am curious about the Quinoa. Are you going to harvest the seeds or just use it for greens? I'd put some in my garden but I have no space left, maybe next year.

i didnt have space for quinoa either.... not sure what to do with it.... i might put it in my front yard....

i grew it to see if i took a bag of quinoa and buried it what would happen, and it grew... from the pictures it looks like a giant beautiful flower, so thats why i did it... didn't even think of eating the greens! which i will! i will try to harvest it on my own and see if i can make the grains, but its more just for fun.....

love quinoa, very underrated, my basil is growing like crazy, i love it.
