This book is scaring me, I think fluoride could potentially be a serious problem.

The Fluoride Deception by Christopher Bryson is a great book and the harmful effects of mass drinking water fluoridation should be a concern of every person. Also there is the issue of personal freedom: it is a forced medication, unless one has a water filtration system or another source of unmedicated water, one must accept this governmental medication. Fluoride is not a nutrient. I prefer to decide for myself what drugs to take or not to take and not have Big Brother decide what's best for me.

The danger is not from topical application to the teeth, but from systemic absorption from drinking water. There is a reason that "97% of western Europe has chosen fluoride-free water . This includes: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, and Switzerland. (While some European countries add fluoride to salt, the majority do not.) Thus, rather than mandating fluoride treatment for the whole population, western Europe allows individuals the right to choose, or refuse, fluoride."

However, read this book, research this matter and decide for yourself. I choose not to drink fluoridated water, and I don't.
